Librarians of institutions of vocational education, Vinnytsia region were trained in principles of innovation (photo)

Regional workshop of librarians vocational education institutions was held on 16 March on the basis of the Vinnytsia regional library for children im. I. Franko. The event was initiated by the Vinnytsya state centre for aesthetic education of students of vocational educational institutions. The workshop was attended by 32 librarians of institutions of vocational education in Vinnytsia region, as well as the head of the scientific-methodical Department of the Vinnytsia oblast universal scientific library. M. A. Timiryazev Tatiana Marchenko, Deputy Director of the Vinnytsia regional library for children im. Franko Irina Rudkovskaya. The workshop aimed to address issues of innovative activities of libraries and to identify non-traditional forms of bibliographic work as well as applying modern computer information and communication technologies to improve user services, creation of comfortable conditions for quality to meet the readers ' requests. During the event the participants discussed traditional and innovative forms of socio-cultural and local history library activities of vocational educational institutions of the region. Their experiences shared with the audience: Natalie Lived, head librarian of the Vinnytsia interregional higher vocational school, who spoke about innovative forms of bibliographic work and the use of electronic information resources in working with students; Irina Vasilkova, the librarian of Vinnytsia higher vocational school of sphere of services, introduced the system of work of the librarian on the use of modern information technologies; Saburova Faith, librarian Vocational school ¹21 in Kalinovka, which was shared with colleagues about their work on formation of information competence and the reading culture of students.
