a New working group on studying of the state of Affairs in institutions of Zhytomyr region should be composed of representatives of medical sphere and experts. This said the Deputy of the regional Council Olena Galaguza March 22, during a press conference on the situation with the reorganization of boarding schools of Zhytomyr region. "We plan to initiate the creation of a working group on questions of studying the state of Affairs in the residential institutions, which will include specialists, doctors, as well as conducting a complete audit of these institutions. We will now all be done publicly and speak only the truth," said Olena Galaguza. During the press conference the participants discussed and future development of inclusive education in Zhytomyr. In particular, the Director of the school "universe" Maria Levchenko said that their inclusion introduced in 2007. the school has 17 children with special needs, we work with teachers, psychologists, speech therapists, etc. "we all have equal rights to development. But boarding schools should become resource centres for inclusive education – to help with textbooks, methods and techniques," she said.
