For comparison, last week the number of new participants in the program amounted to about 4 thousand families, and the amount of 89 million. It is reported by the head of Saee of Ukraine. — "The results of the full program this year exceed last year's figures. For example, in the most active periods of the last year the amount of funds which the population in a week attracted to energy efficiency measures, reached 60-90 million. This year has already exceeded the milestone of 100 million hryvnia. In our opinion, the current activity of the population is greatly affected in times of reduced utility bills after implementing energy efficiency measures in homes and reduce the cost of "warm" loans, which arose due to competition between a large number of banks-participants of the program and the local programs of additional reimbursement for the insulation," commented the Chairman of the Saee Serhiy Savchuk. The head of the Agency explained that as only three weeks ago also joined PrivatBank with the intention of establishing an interest rate not more than 18%, it spurred other banks to soften the terms "warm" loans. So, for the last week: - 186 families attracted to the state banks 3.9 million UAH. to replace gas boilers on solid fuel; almost half a million hryvnias took 3 condominiums, to implement energy efficiency measures in their homes; - the most popular destination of the program is insulation and energy efficiency of private housing in which more than 5,500 families attracted USD 114.9 million. — "In General, all with one purpose – to introduce such measures that will reduce energy consumption and, as a result, bills for utilities. At the same time, everyone has the opportunity to use non-repayable financial assistance from the Government and local authorities to implement these measures," concluded the Sec.Savchuk. Recall that from the beginning of the program "warm" loans took more than 220 thousands of families, has attracted more than UAH 2.9 billion. on energy efficiency measures. In particular, according to the program: - more than 19 thousand families abandoned gas consumption and purchased "non-gas" boilers for the sum nearly 300 million UAH; - 154 thousand families decided to insulate their homes by purchasing energy-efficient materials in the amount of almost UAH 2.6 billion; - 677 condominiums and housing cooperatives attracted more than 82 million UAH for heat insulation of high-rise buildings. Reference: Government program on energy efficiency provides for a partial refund of the amount of "warm" loan: - 20% - for natural persons for the purchase of solid fuel boilers, 35% for subsident. - 35% - for natural persons for the purchase of energy-efficient materials and equipment, including grantees; - 40% for condominiums and housing cooperatives for the purchase of energy-efficient materials and equipment.
