Social entrepreneurship in Transcarpathia is very important for the region
22 March in the small hall of the Transcarpathian regional state administration held a round table on the theme "Social entrepreneurship – a new business philosophy". During the event representatives of government, business, public organizations will discuss questions of assistance on business creation for the ATO participants and their families, the unemployed, internally displaced persons, and so on. Beginning at 14.00 We invite media representatives Organizers: "My Transcarpathia" and the Center for assistance to Participants of ATO. Reference: In the framework of the project "Ukrainian regional platform of social initiatives" with the financial support of the European Union to Ukraine, "My Transcarpathia" implements the project "support Centre for social entrepreneurship". The Center's mission is to help those who decided not to wait for help from the state, and implement its own initiative aimed at solving a specific problem. We are talking about social enterprise – a business that is created to make money and be financially stable, and with profits or their activities to solve community problems. The Center will assist in the development and support of promising social projects will help to identify sources of funding to train future entrepreneurs financial literacy and counseling on the possibilities of opening their own business for the most vulnerable categories of people. Social entrepreneurship in the modern world aimed at accelerating positive social change, ensuring the satisfaction of basic human needs in an optimal way. It can and should be a key factor for sustainable development of not only separate areas but the whole country. Social entrepreneurship is characterized by such main features, like the ability of the entrepreneur to make a profit by solving the pressing social problems in society, contributing not only their elimination, but also a qualitatively new development of the potential of the population.
