for the 2016 agricultural enterprises of the region produced 3.9 thousand tons of beef and 63.6 thousand tonnes of milk. "Increased beef production farms, Buchach district, with 196 tons , Kozovsky - 72 tons, Zbaraz 63 tons, Ternopil - 20 tons, Chortkiv - 591 a ton, Podvolochisk - 484 tons, Shumsky - 352 tons more than last year", - commented the Director of the Department agroekologia development of regional state administration Vitaly Lui. According to him, the increase in milk production farms, Buchach district - 3674 tons, Terebovlia on 789 tons, Kozovsky - 686 tons, Berezhany, 189 tons, Zbaraz at 123 tons. "For 2016 milk yield per 1 cow in agricultural enterprises is 6143 kg. This is at 327 kg (5.6 percent) more than the corresponding period last year. The highest milk production achieved in the agricultural enterprises, Buchach district - 8042 kg, Podvolochisk – 7545 kg. lanovets'kyi – 6000 kg," - said Vitaly Lui.
