For the procedural management of Prosecutor of the Transcarpathian region, officers of the Department to protect the economy in the Transcarpathian region in cooperation with investigators of the regional police and a special unit of CORD exposed and foiled a large-scale production of counterfeit alcohol. Operatives at the same time proven mass searches directly in the production of “left of vodka” and the organizers of «Alko-business”. In particular, in the context of criminal proceedings conducted 25 authorized searches during which the seized two thousand boxes of "vodka" of 120 thousand US $ 117 thousand euros and 600 thousand hryvnias. In addition, the removal of equipment for production of alcoholic products more than 5 tons of alcohol with fake excise duty stamps of Ukraine, as well as “black” accounts. Currently detained two of the defendants in this high-profile case and the Prosecutor's office in Transcarpathian region has already notified them about suspicion in Commission of the criminal offense under part 2 of article 199 of the criminal code of Ukraine, that is the storage, acquisition, transportation, with the purpose of use at sale of goods, sale of counterfeit excise tax stamps, committed on preliminary arrangement by group of persons, on a large scale and part 2 of article 204 of the criminal code, i.e. illegal production of alcoholic beverages by opening of underground shops using equipment that provides mass production of such goods. Workshop for production of counterfeit vodka was located in the Lviv region in stry, and the main channels of distribution "of vodka left” was the Western regions of Ukraine. It is established that only for one day so the plant could produce up to 2 million cases of alcohol, profit “businessmen” reached during this same time, half a million hryvnia. Now set the sources of supply of raw materials for production of counterfeit products. Sanction article provides for punishment of imprisonment for a term of n'five to ten years.
