In Ternopil region plan to create industrial parks

Industrial Park is an effective mechanism that will facilitate investment, business development, securing new jobs. The establishment of such industrial sites is a priority of the Ternopil regional state administration. About this said the first Deputy Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration Ivan Krysak during a meeting on the establishment of industrial parks in the region, which was held with the support of USAID programme "Leadership in economic Radovan" (LION). Experts the LION, the representatives of regional state administrations and bodies of local self-government discussed the concept of creating industrial parks in the region. Participants identified key aspects of the education Park: election site, where it will host, a management company, development of the concept. As well as a procedure by inclusion in the state Register of industrial parks, giving more opportunities for the development of economic potential of the city and increase business activity. Also discussed practical aspects of creation and functioning of industrial parks, their capacity. The local authorities of Ternopil region identified eight potential sites that can accommodate industrial parks. In particular, Chortkiv and Lanewick city councils already involved in the work and provided specific developments in this direction. For the creation of industrial parks, experts say, need to identify potential investors, suitability of the territory, to take into account local industrial capacity. Playground should be located close to major highways, technology infrastructure, and communications. And the adjacent industrial Park should be a sufficient number of potential employees. "To realize such a project is not easy, but it is possible in case of bilateral cooperation between state authorities, local authorities and business", — summed up Ivan Krysak.
