The Ternopil region: region decreased levels of juvenile delinquency
14% decrease in the rate of teenage crime in the Ternopil region in 2016. This was announced during the Board service on children Affairs of regional state administration. However, juvenile crime increased in 9 districts of the region – in Husyatyn, Kosivska lanovets'kyi, Monastery, Podvolochisk, Podgaetskii, Terebovlia, Ternopil and Shumsky areas. Criminal violations were involved 95 adolescents (123 in 2015), a decrease of 32%. For juveniles committed 70 criminal offences. This is 25% less than in 2015. In the reporting period in the region of 20 teenagers have committed criminal offences while on the preventive account. The involvement of minors in criminal activities (article 304 of the criminal code) investigators SV IN(C)P GUNP initiated 12 criminal proceedings , 8 of which materials are directed to court.
