the Prosecutor's office In the Volyn region held a training seminar on the theme: "Especially the implementation of the procedural management and the participation of Prosecutor in court in criminal proceedings against a minor". The seminar was attended by the Deputy head of the Department of juvenile justice - the chief of Department of the procedural management of pre-trial investigation and support state charges in juvenile Prosecutor General of Ukraine Vladimir Chepurnoy. Also to participate in the seminar were invited the heads of local Prosecutor's offices, their first deputies and deputies, employees of Department of juvenile justice, the regional Prosecutor's office and prosecutors of local Prosecutor's offices responsible for the area of the protection of the rights and freedoms of children. Opening the seminar, Deputy Prosecutor of the region Yaroslav galinskiy noted that the reform of criminal procedure, which took place a few years ago, aimed at humanizing and improving safeguards for the protection of the rights of a person. Consequently, minors in criminal proceedings enjoy additional guarantees. Criminal procedure code foresees the specialization of investigators and judges in criminal proceedings against minors, the peculiarities of its implementation, the conditions for the application to minors of a measure of restraint, sets out the issues of conclusion of transactions and the like. The Criminal code of Ukraine contains links to specific applications to teenagers to criminal punishment, the release of the latter from punishment. In the implementation of criminal proceedings and of the proceedings in the juvenile there is still a lot of problematic issues which became the subject of discussion. Present at the workshop discussed General issues of the implementation of pre-trial investigation and procedural guidance pre-trial investigation of criminal proceedings against minors, the organization of work of the Prosecutor exercising supervision over the observance of the rights of minors in criminal proceedings the General principles of the maintenance of Prosecutor of the state prosecution in criminal proceedings against minors. Lively discussion the participants of the seminar called features of judicial consideration of criminal proceedings against minors and the sentencing of juveniles and release them from punishment. In concluding the seminar, Jaroslav golinski stressed that to solve problems that arise in the implementation of criminal proceedings and proceedings in relation to minors required concerted action between the bodies of pre-trial investigation, prosecution and trial, and only joint efforts will lead to the prevention of violations of the rights of minors, and will help to minimize cases of minor criminal offences.
