The Prosecutor's office of Volyn will seek punishment for the court acquitted the police officers who beat up a member of Tau
Volyn region Prosecutor's office is appealing the appeal verdict to Vladimir-Volyn city court, which acquitted police officers who beat visitors of the Youth cultural centre "Butterfly" in Vladimir-Volynskij. Night 8 August 2015 22-the summer inspector of patrol service of group of patrol service of the Vladimir-Volynsk Department of internal Affairs in the Volyn region arrived on a call to the ICC in SV’'yazku with the notification about the breaking of the mirror inside the institution. Arriving at the site and not installing properly the circumstances of the incident, a policeman with a partner began to demand from one of the visitors centre (disabled group i, ATO) to compensate the losses caused, and when he refused-the inspector of patrol service arbitrarily and without warning apply the techniques of unarmed combat. In further beating a man continued in front of the entrance to ICC. Got from the policeman as friend of the victim, who rushed to protect his friend. All these events are recorded camera video surveillance. As established experts, actions of patrol both the victim suffered bodily injuries of mild severity. The results of the investigation the Prosecutor's office of Volyn region has sent to court the indictment in criminal proceedings on abuse by the inspector of patrol service of the power and office powers which was accompanied by violence, painful, and such that offend the personal dignity of the victim, actions (a criminal offense under part 2 article 365 of the Criminal code of Ukraine). The court recognized the policeman guilty of Commission of the alleged crimes, acquitted him. Prosecutors do not agree with this ruling and will seek a just punishment for the ex-inspector.
