Chernivtsi: the contest for the best project proposal of a monument to participants of the ATO
the Department of urban complex and land relations city Council will hold an open competition for the best project proposal of a monument to participants of the antiterrorist operation in the complex with the formation of a square at the intersection of the Celestial Hundreds – Vladimir Komarov – Sidor Vorobkevych. By decision of the Executive Committee of the city Council, the jury of the contest headed by the architect, a member of the local organization of the National Union of architects of Ukraine in Chernivtsi region Evgeny Babcom included leading architects, artists, social activists. The bonus Fund of the competition is 50 000 (fifty thousand) UAH. The competition is open and conducted without limiting the number of participants, professional level of which meets the requirements established by conditions of the contest. The competition is held in one round. The contestants must find a form of artistic and spatial display of the events in the East of Ukraine, the heroism of the soldiers of the ATO participants and the commemoration of the dead soldiers. They must analyze the existing environment to offer urban planning and urban solution of the formation of the new city square. Participants of the Contest, which will last four months can be open to all interested physical or legal persons, their groups of authors, who provided the competition jury documents.
