Chernivtsi: the championship of culinary and pastry arts will be the impetus for the development of the catering industry

Opening of the International championship of culinary and pastry arts "FoodLandBukovina-2017" was held in entertainment center "Panorama-Chernivtsi". This large-scale event for professionals of restaurant business, which aim to enrich the experience of culinary and pastry arts. “Cooking – this is a significant part of the culture of the peoples who inhabited the Bukovina – said Chernivtsi mayor Alex Kaspruk. – We are glad to welcome here guests from Italy, Spain, Croatia, Turkey, Romania, Germany and other countries. When high-level professionals to share experiences with our cooks, it becomes the impetus for the development of the catering industry in our city, attracting tourists. So everybody is invited to come to “Panorama” and see the culinary masterpieces”. International championship of culinary and pastry arts "FoodLandBukovina-2017" was held with purpose of popularization of creative achievements in the field of restaurants, the embodiment of creative ideas to expand the range of culinary dishes and confectionery products, improve the level of training of specialists in the sphere of restaurant business. The event is organized by the Department of Economics of Chernivtsi city Council and GS "Bukovina Guild of chefs". Participation in the championship specialists with culinary and pastry skills that demonstrate your skills and compete with their foreign colleagues, gain new knowledge and experience of professional communication with international stars of the culinary and pastry arts. To the jury of the International championship of culinary and pastry arts "FoodLandBukovina-2017" will be composed of distinguished international judges WACS, world-famous stars of the culinary arts. The championship is conducted and evaluated according to the recommendations of the world Association of culinary unions (WACS) in the following areas: – art-class confectionery and culinary arts (an artistic presentation of the samples in the preliminary run); – practical competition (within the competition) individual and team forms of participation. In the championship will be held master classes in cooking dishes and sweets from top chefs in Ukraine and abroad, will be held Easter fair of ecological products and kraftova festive paraphernalia will be submitted to the companies and producers that are tangents to the restaurant industry.
