In Volhynia on getting 2 thousand dollars of illegal benefits exposed the Chairman of regional state administration .
Through coordinated action by investigators and prosecutors of the Prosecutor of the Volyn region and the Specialized anticorruption Prosecutor's office on materials of Department of protection of the economy in the region of the Department of protection of economy of the National police of Ukraine documented the fact of obtaining illegal benefit by the Chairman of one of district state administrations of Volyn. 30 Mar 2017 official received from the person undue benefit in the amount of 2 thousand US dollars for making and signing them, as RGA Chairman, the order about granting in rent of the land plot of 16 hectares of those lands are not in demand shares (stakes) outside settlements, for conducting a commodity agricultural production and immediately was caught by police officers. The actions of the Chairman of regional state administration qualified under part 4 St. 368 criminal code of Ukraine - receiving a service person who holds especially responsible position, undue advantage for the Commission in the interests of the person who provides illegal benefit, of any actions using the authorities granted to it or official position. Note that such acts (and this is an especially grave corruption crime) shall be punished by imprisonment for the term from 8 till 12 years with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term up to three years, with confiscation of property. Currently, the official is detained in order St. 208 code of Ukraine, the ongoing complex of urgent investigatory and procedural actions, the question regarding the suspicious transaction reports and the election of a preventive measure.
