Lutsk will host the international poetry festival Meridian Lutsk

6-8 October in Lutsk for the first time will host the international poetry festival Meridian Lutsk. The event will bring together representatives and connoisseurs of poetry, prose, theatre, music and other types of art from Ukraine and other countries. during the press conference, the festival organizers discussed the concept and purpose of the meeting. The Bureau consisted of the President of the International literary Corporation Meridian Czernowitz Sviatoslav Pomerantsev, Director of the International festival Meridian Lutsk, the Chairman of the NGO “Artistic Association “Stendhal” Elvira Jacuta, Director of the Department culutre of Lutsk city Council Tatiana Gnativ, member of the Executive Committee of Lutsk city Council Roman Bondaruk, Ukrainian writer Serhiy Zhadan. According to Elvira Acute, the city of Lutsk for many years and is well known for various festivals. From now on, the luck to be initiated one cultural and artistic events — festival Meridian Lutsk that will become part of the International literary Corporation Meridian Czernovitz. Conducting literary festival Meridian has become the hallmark of the Ukrainian city of Chernivtsi. Sviatoslav Pomerantsev noted that holding such a festival in Lutsk will give you the opportunity to create a modern cultural face of our city, and will provide the sound of Lutsk and Volyn in the cultural and media space in Europe. Tatiana Gnativ, in turn, said: “to Make our city a festival of such level is a great honor. For luck this is an extraordinary opportunity to position their cultural and creative potential. We expect a huge number of visitors and a wonderful atmosphere during the festival days. Will be happy to share with visitors the cultural heritage of our region.” Also Tatiana Gnativ said that from the city budget for the festival was allocated 270 thousand hryvnias. Also during the press conference said that the participants of the festival in Lutsk will be artists from the Czech Republic, Belarus, Israel, Poland and the Baltic countries. It is also expected a large number of representatives of modern Ukrainian literary space, including: Serhiy Zhadan, Irena Karpa, Yuri Andrukhovych, Andriy Lyubka, etc. During the action the scene will feature works in two languages-Ukrainian and English. In addition, one of the highlights of the festival will be a three-day cultural tour of the city with stops for readings in the places of the luck as the place of residence of national minorities. Meridian Lutsk team expresses its gratitude to the partners of the festival — the member of the Executive Committee of the city Council Roman Bondaruk and the General Consulate of the Republic of Poland in Lutsk.
