Ternopil regional branch of Fund of social protection of persons with disabilities for 2016 Finance education 41 students with disabilities. This was announced by the Director of Ternopil regional branch of Fund of social protection of the disabled Irina Bazilevskaya during a video meeting with the chairmen of district state administrations 3 APR. "In 2017 it is planned to pay for the education of students with disabilities in the amount of 280 thousand UAH. for 38 students", - said Irina Bazilevskaya. She said that in the case of entrance examinations (admission tests) with a positive outcome in higher educational institutions I-IV levels of accreditation shall be credited out of competition for disabled children and the disabled first and second groups, which are not contraindicated training in the chosen specialty; in vocational training institutions, children with disabilities, and persons with disabilities who are not contraindicated training in their chosen profession (specialty) and specialization. Under other equal conditions, a preferential right to admission to higher educational institutions I-IV accreditation level and vocational schools are disabled children and children from low-income families, in which: both parents are with disabilities; one of the parents is disabled, and the other died; a single mother with disabilities; father is a disabled person who is raising a child without a mother. During the training, specified categories of citizens scholarship and pension (state social assistance to disabled since childhood and children with disabilities) are paid in full, according to the Law of Ukraine "On bases of social protected of invalids in Ukraine".
