Volyn region Prosecutor's office is appealing the appeal verdict to Vladimir-Volyn city court, 32-year-old resident of Novovolynsk who made a fatal accident. Just after midnight July 19, 2016, in a state of alcoholic SP’intoxication behind the wheel of a car brand “Audi 80 1.8 S”, the man was moving on the highway with the message “Kovel-Zhovkva” from Vladimir-Volynskiy and in the village of Verba Vladimir-Volyn region hit a girl-pedestrian, who was walking in the same direction. From traumatized 17-year-old victim died on the spot. Having recognized the driver guilty of violating the rules of road safety, which resulted in the death of the victim (criminal offense under part 2 of article 286 of the criminal code), the court has appointed to it punishment in the form of 4 years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right of management by vehicles for a period of 2 years.
