Residents of the city joined the charity project "Oscar and the Pink Lady" for the organization of palliative care to seriously ill children

Yesterday, April 2, on the stage of the Vinnytsia regional academic music and drama theatre. M. Sadowski, a charity exhibition at the nationwide art project to help terminally ill children, "Oscar and the Pink Lady," based on the world famous novel of Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt. First Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Andriy Gyzhko, who attended the performance on behalf of the regional Executive power welcomed the participants of the charity art project, commented: "This play is about a little boy who is very seriously ill and wrote 10 letters to God . The project is charitable and the show is traveling to cities of Ukraine with the aim to draw attention to the problems of children with cancer, those who need palliative care. This issue cannot be ignored . So a room full of Vinnytsia spectators testified to the fact that people are willing to charity". Andrew Gyzhko noted that the funds collected during the charity performance will be used to purchase medical equipment for Vinnytsia oblast children's clinical hospital. Information about what will acquire for charitable means, will be published by the Department of health later. We will remind, "Oscar and the Pink Lady" is a nationwide project, which calls for the solution of a significant social problem – the creation in Ukraine of a system of affordable palliative care for seriously ill children. The initiator of this art project, the actress Irma Vitovskaya in one of his interviews said: "We want to deprive the child of pain. We can't keep her alive, but numb the child we have to, and make that part of life given by the God, quality and color". This was reported in the Vinnytsia regional state administration
