16 APR 2017 comes into force the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from 01.03.2017 ¹ 118 "On approval of Rules of registration of visas to entry into Ukraine and transit through its territory". In accordance with subparagraphs 1, 2 of paragraph 7 of the Rules the basis for a short-term visa is in particular the invitation was in Ukraine a legal entity, issued on an official letterhead, or notarized letter of invitation individuals. This Decree amended the subparagraph 8 of item 4 of the Regulations on the State migration service of Ukraine, the approved resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 20.08.2014 No. 360. In particular, it excludes the words "of invitations to foreigners and stateless persons to obtain visa to enter Ukraine." Also according to paragraph 4 of the Rules of visa long-term visa is issued as multiple entry for 90 days. In this regard, the territorial units of the office of LCA in the Chernivtsi region from 15 April 2017 will have stopped accepting documents for the issue of invitations to foreigners and stateless persons to obtain visa for entering Ukraine.
