Opening the event, Director of the Department of culture Tatiana Gnativ said that the project “Easter workshop”. “This year, the project involves 19 best masters of folk art of our region. Under their guidance children will learn pottery, sculpting, beading, decoupage, sewing, learn how to make products from straw and forest herbs, sew toys. The art of painting Easter eggs taught by national master Andrew Bondaruk and Natalia dovgalyuk. Every time we try to encompass the widest possible audience of visitors, so we invite you to participate not only children but also all comers, ” she said. Also in the framework of the project “Easter workshop” will host various charity workshops and meetings with narodoslawsky, ethnographers, folklorists. Deputy mayor Andrej Kiska emphasized the importance of such events. “While in Ukraine there are masters who, through their work to revive folk art and transfer their skills to the younger generation, our country will prosper. Nice that there were a lot of kids who would be interested in studying folk art. Each finds something that he likes,” said he. Also Andrej Kiska expressed his gratitude to all the artists who agreed to participate in the project and wished a good Easter mood.
