Ternopil: ecoinspection revealed violations in the work "Ukratransnafta"
Ternopil branch of the state enterprise "Ukrmednet" violates the requirements of article 39 of the Law of Ukraine "On ecological expertise". This became known after the checks by the State ecological Inspectorate in the Ternopil region through 2016 - 2017. "The company carries out activity without the positive conclusion of state ecological expertise. In fact, in an open area since 2007 remains roughly about 4 thousand tonnes of by-products of animal origin, which is impossible to recycle products and must be disposed of or buried in accordance with applicable law. However, the company is not taking steps to solve the problem, so there is a risk of contact with the decomposition products of animals in the town of Seret. Technology of processing of morally and physically obsolete, not effectively processed products of animal origin. Orders to eliminate violations of environmental regulations by management are ignored," - commented the chief of state ecoinspection Eduard Ferenc. He said that the materials are sent to the Ternopil district administrative court for a decision on a temporary ban (stop) of activity of the enterprise associated with the negative impact on the environment.
