April 5, in the press center of the Department of information activities and public relations of the regional state administration held a "round table" to create an interactive map is a register of children with disabilities residing in the territory of Vinnytsia region. The initiator of the meeting, which brought together the Executive authorities and institutes of civil society of the region, was organized by public organization "Automaidan Vinnytsia region", which will coordinate activities in the framework of the project. In work "a round table" took part the Director of Department of information activities and public relations of the regional state administration Svetlana Vasylyuk, Deputy Director – head of the Department of General secondary and preschool education and educational work Department of education and science of the regional state administration Vladimir Bunyak, chief of Department of legal support and social services Department of social and youth policy of the regional state administration Sergey Sink, chief specialist of the Department of preventive and curative care for children's population health Department of the regional state administration Larissa Bevz, head of educational-sports Department of the municipal institution "Vinnytsia regional centre for physical culture and sports of invalids "Invasport" Ruslan Gavrilyuk, Chairman of the NGO "Avtomaydan Vinnytsia region" Taisa Gaida, representatives of NGOs, institutions working with persons with disabilities, the media of the region. "The creation of a specialized interactive map will allow you to possess all necessary information regarding children with disabilities residing in the region. This will allow for greater involvement of such children in the educational process and to create appropriate conditions for further development of inclusive education in Vinnytsia", – said Svetlana Vasilyuk. "We must not forget that inclusion is, first and foremost, the creation of comfortable living conditions for persons with disabilities, and not adaptation to the environment," said Taisa Gaida. By results of work it was decided at the first stage of creating an interactive card to cover 5 categories of children with disabilities, namely children with autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy (cerebral palsy), disorders of vision and hearing. Also, the basis for the development of the map to put the principles of informativeness, accessibility, usability and multimedia with the possibility of further content created by the web resource. According to Daisy Guides, it would be appropriate to develop a comprehensive social program to support children with disabilities in the Vinnytsia region, or make a section in one of the existing social programs approved by regional Council. Without a doubt, the development of the interactive map, which will contain data on place of residence and nosology of children with disabilities, will be one of the most important steps to involve persons with disabilities in society and development of an inclusive environment in Vinnytsia region.
