Maryna Poroshenko presented certificates to the participants on the development of inclusive education in Zhytomyr
During his working visit to Zhytomyr on 7 April Maryna Poroshenko took part in the training for specialists of psychological-medical-pedagogical consultations, the region and presented the participants with certificates. The event is part of a pilot project of the Charity Fund Poroshenko "Inclusive education – the level of consciousness of the nation." Addressing the specialists of the PMPC, the wife of the Head of state noted that the team of reformers of inclusive education in Ukraine expands and becomes more powerful: "we were joined by almost 90 specialists of the Zhytomyr region, who understand that every child is unique and unrepeatable." The Chairman of regional state administration Igor Gundich thanked the President for the implementation of the project in Zhytomyr and said: "Our position is clear: we must not develop the Soviet system institutions, and modern and progressive inclusive education, where the child feels confident, socialized and receives the quality of knowledge. On the development and support of inclusive education this year from the state budget the Zhytomyr region received 8 million UAH of subventions (6.4 million UAH on payment of additional remedial classes and 1,6 million UAH – on the purchase of corrective equipment).
