According to the official, the payment of assistance to families with children, poor families, disabled from childhood, disabled children, temporary state assistance to children and helping to care for a disabled 1 or 2 groups due to mental disorder was received in the amount 519,3 million UAH. that is 23.7 % of the assignments in 2017. Subventions from the state budget to local budgets for payment of state social help on children-orphans and children deprived of parental care, cash security to parents-caregivers and adoptive parents for providing social services in orphanages of family type and foster homes by the principle "money follows the child", and payment of fees on the exercise of the patronage of the child and payment of social benefits for the child in the family foster parent in the amount of 7.7 million UAH. that is 20.1 % of the assignments in 2017.
