Chernivtsi: the State migration service of Ukraine introduced an online service for automated database of invalid documents
6 April, the Chairman of the State migration service of Ukraine Maxim Sokoluk presented a new online service. The service is available on the website of the migration service to: nd.dmsu.gov.ua With the new online service is fast and free to check in the databases of invalid, stolen or lost passports migration service and the interior Ministry. As noted during the presentation, Maxim Sokoluk, the service will be especially useful for citizens and organizations that entrust their money and/or property of other citizens and designed to eliminate certain types of fraud using counterfeit passports. The most famous kind of fraudulent transactions is obtaining credits and loans in foreign documents in which the re-stuck photo, but there are other schemes, for example in the relationship between tenant-landlord, rental tools and equipment, and the like. Given the weak protection against counterfeiting of passports of the sample of 1994 (booklets), from January 2016 in Ukraine introduced a new biometric ID-passport, but a gradual replacement of documents will take several years, so the new online service will allow you to avoid any abuses in the sphere of turnover of passports of the old sample. Maxim Sokoluk noted that the service contains information on more than 950 thousand of invalid documents and is updated daily. The service is now running in test mode and in case of detection of errors in his work, the citizens can inform the migration service using the feedback form. At the beginning of April in Ukraine are decorated in a total of almost 500 thousand of ID-passports, the new passport contains an electronic data chip, it's impossible to fake, in addition, ID-a passport is easy to use and durable.
