Jewish deputies demand to cancel the introduction of a monthly fee for connection to the gas supply system
During extraordinary session of the city Council, the elected representatives of the community of the city expressed their clear position regarding the decision NKREKP, concerning the introduction of fees for connection to the gas supply system for the population. Its categorical disagreement with this decision, members of the city Council have declared in the appeal, which was developed jointly by representatives of the various factions. Speeches were delivered by Andriy Kozyura, Nicholas fedyk and Konstantin Petrochuk. In particular, Nicholas fedyk pointed out that such treatment was first adopted at the session of the Ivanychi district Council. Since then, a wave of indignation spread throughout Ukraine. the decision NKREKP on the introduction of a fee for the gas supply is suspended. MP Konstantin Petrochuk added that the Lutsk city Council cannot stand aside of this issue, because of the additional fees will hurt a category of citizens, especially pensioners and other socially unprotected layers of the population. The appeal with the requirement to cancel the introduction of a monthly fee for gas will be directed to the President of Ukraine, Cabinet of Ministers, NKREKP, the General Prosecutor's office, NABOO. Deputies also supported the draft decision “On the appeal to the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine regarding the increase in wages in healthcare and increase medical subventions of the State budget in 2017”.
