In Ternopil SBU will take enhanced security measures
In the Ternopil Department of the SBU held a meeting of participants of the regional coordination group of the Antiterrorist center on how to prevent and counter potential sabotage and terrorist acts before and during the celebration of Easter. During the meeting the heads of regional organs of security Service of Ukraine, Nacpac, the state service for emergencies, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National guard was further to an agreement about cooperation and joint responses to manifestations of terrorist nature. Separately, the meeting considered the issue of ensuring an adequate level of public safety in the region while participation in religious and secular events held in places of mass stay of people. Ternopil law enforcement officers will be on duty in the strengthened mode of protection of important objects of life support of the region, as well as maintain law and order in places of holding crowded meetings. However, the management of the SBU appeals to the countrymen not to lose vigilance and to immediately inform security forces of any suspicious vehicles, objects and persons which may fall within their field of vision.
