The luck and let the city Council working on the EIB's resources for updating of trolleybus Park and infrastructure
12 April 2017 the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On ratification of Financial agreement (Project "Urban public transport") between Ukraine and the European Investment Bank". Parliament ratified the Financial agreement (Project "Urban public transport") between Ukraine and the European Investment Bank signed on 11 November 2016 in Kiev. The agreement shall enter into force on the date of entry into force of this Law. A financial agreement is aimed at implementation of measures aimed at updating of Park of buses, trams, trolleybuses, subway trains, construction and reconstruction of tram and trolleybus lines, replacement of traction substations, the introduction of modern payment systems and information systems at the expense of attracted loan funds European investment Bank and the European Bank for reconstruction and development. Funding for the project is planned at the expense of attracted loan funds European investment Bank under the state guarantees in the amount of EUR 200 million, up to 22 years with a grace period of up to 5 years. Source of financing of the project will involve funds of the European Bank for reconstruction and development and/or local budgets, and final beneficiaries. The expected beneficiary is the adopted Law and the municipal enterprise of the city Council "Lutsk enterprise of elektrotransport".
