Children of Volnovakha Easter meet in Lutsk
within the framework of cooperation between Lutsk and Volnovaha of Donetsk region, children from Donbas for the third year will celebrate the Easter holidays in our city. And here on 14 April, the luck came a group composed of 49 children and 5 adults from the Donetsk region. To meet guests at the Lutsk train station with bread and embroidered towels came Secretary of the city Council, acting mayor Igor Polishchuk, Deputy mayor Grigory Pustovit, members of the city Council, teachers of secondary schools. Igor Polishchuk congratulated the guests from the East to the land of Volyn and wished them a good holiday. According to him, they prepared an interesting program of stay, which will give the opportunity to get acquainted with the tradition of celebrating Easter in our region, historical heritage of Volyn. Teachers accompanying children of Volnovakha, expressed gratitude to the city government and the Lutsk side for the hospitality. There will be a delegation from the city of Volnovaha in luck until April 18. During his stay in Volhynia, the children will have the opportunity to interact with their peers from secondary schools in the city of Lutsk, to explore the Old town, the Lutsk castle, Lutsk zoo, Gilichinsky St. Nicholas monastery and the Church of the Volyn diocese of the UOC-Kyiv Patriarchate in sec. Zmeinets. Guests from Volnovakha will participate in the Easter events which will be held in Lutsk.
