Finished reception of applications for participation in Competition of social projects (pitching) direction of travel announced by the Lutsk city Council in partnership with the program "Active citizens" by British Parliament in Ukraine and CDF "Youth platform". The organizers of the initiative received 80 applications from active residents. Were selected 40 ideas for the next stage of the competition. "We are encouraged by the fact that this initiative caused a stir among the active citizens of Lutsk. Thanks to everyone who submitted their applications. Most of the ideas that you sent us, encouraging their creativity and truly aimed at improving the tourist potential and development of our city", - said one of the organizers of the Competition, the Chairman of the NGO "Youth platform" Zakhar Tkachuk. Note that the most common theme of applications are: festivals and cultural events; improvement of urban space; the creation of thematic web resources. During the next stage of the competition, all selected candidates will be trained in writing and managing projects. "We were invited to participate in this event, a reputable and experienced coaches. Namely: the designer, one of the founders of the Congress of cultural activists Yaroslav Belinsky; project Manager of "Center of social partnership" in Sumy Anna Fat; the Chairman of the NGO "Open University of Maidan" Elena Gil" - said Zakhar Tkachuk. A large number of applications indicates that the Lutsk side do not care how to develop luck, how to attract the attention of tourist to our city, - said the head of tourism and promotion of the city Catherine Telesca. Contest winners will be announced on Friday, April 21, according to the results of the presentation of the selected projects before the competition Commission. Its membership will include representatives of the Lutsk city Council, community activists, representatives of tourist business and other reputable experts. Recall that the Contest of social projects (pitching) is an initiative that aims to increase the attractiveness of luck, thanks to the initiatives that will be implemented active Lutsk. Now, the total budget is 200 thousand UAH: 100 000 provided by the Office of tourism and promotion of the city of Lutsk city Council and another 100 000 UAH - the British Council in Ukraine.
