The managers of educational programs of the British Council in Ukraine will be in the Chernivtsi

April 18-19 at Chernivtsi will be Mr. Simon Etherton, Manager of the English programmes of the British Council in Ukraine and Victoria Vandev, Manager educational programs of the British Council in Ukraine in Chernivtsi. The purpose of the visit – discussion of joint international Projects for professional development of teachers of English, in particular, the impact of the national program "Teacher of English – agents of change", which was developed jointly by the British Council and public GoGlobal initiative in the framework of the national campaign "Ukraine is Speaking". Four teachers of secondary educational institutions of the city: Oles Humeniuk (gymnasium ¹ 3), Andrew Verbova (gymnasium ¹ 6), Elena Molodec (gymnasium ¹ 7), Alina Stangret (school ¹ 22) become trainers of the programme "Teacher of English – agents of change" and conducted its own 40-hour training for English teachers, aimed at improving the quality of teaching of the English language. In total these trainings covered 100 teachers. 2 March 2017 4 trainers programme "Teacher of English – agents of change" m. Chernivtsi became part of the 65 teachers who were invited to the presidential Administration of Ukraine to receive scholarships of the Charity Foundation of Petro Poroshenko to the total amount of 556 thousand UAH. 19 April at 10.15 in Chernivtsi gymnasium ¹3 will meet Simon and Victoria Atterton Vanseo with teachers-change agents, their disciples and some teachers of English educational institutions in the city of Chernivtsi, who were trained under the guidance of change agents. During the meeting it is planned to discuss practical results of the implementation of the joint Project "Teachers of English – agents of change". This was reported in the Chernivtsi city Council
