Ànimal-id.info is a modern non-profit international platform that brings together: • National and local databases identified animals • International search services lost Pets • Service adaptation of homeless animals Animal-id.info – this is the only non-profit database, which receives and integrates information about animals identified: a transponder (a microchip) of the ISO 11784 all producers, visual cue (ear clip, badge), as well as on the basis of genetic markers (DNA code). Joint use of the international system for animal identification – https://animal-id.info provides for joint activities on Pets, monitoring and census of animals in the city, reducing the number of homeless animals, a rapid return animals who are lost, and support community initiatives for the protection of animals, monitoring the vaccination of animals, particularly rabies, other actions directed on support and development of a comfortable coexistence of animals and people in Chernivtsi, improvement of sanitary and epidemiological situation in the city. An activist of NGO "Protection of animals" Antonina goshovskaya said that Chernivtsi city already has preliminary experience in the use of base animal-id at free cuwan that was carried out in the framework of cross-border project in 2014-2015, and counting stray dogs. In Lviv also has successful experience in implementing the registration of animals with the use of this platform, identification of dogs and cats counters.
