In the Ternopil region will honor the anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster
a Meeting concerning carrying out in region of actions in connection with the 31st anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster on 24 April, under the leadership of Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Yuriy Eureka. 26 April 2017 at 10.00 am. in Ternopil held a rally-Requiem in memory of the victims of the Chernobyl tragedy near the monument to Victims of the Chernobyl disaster and nuclear testing in the Park of National Revival. In addition, the Department of social protection, the Department of education and science, culture, internal policy, religions and nationalities, as well as district state administrations, Executive committees of city councils of cities of regional importance were instructed to take measures on timely payment of citizens of the benefits and compensation provided for by Laws of Ukraine. Also approved measures on organization and holding in memory lessons "Remember Chernobyl". In particular, in secondary, vocational and higher educational institutions of the region it is planned demonstration of thematic films, lectures, discussions, meetings, dedicated to the memory of victims of Chernobyl with the participation of participants of liquidation of consequences of Chernobyl accident. On the eve of celebration of memorable dates in Ternopil will be held landscaping memorial complexes of deaths due to the Chernobyl disaster.
