In Lutsk, the scientific library named Pchilka includes a photo exhibition by famous Italian photographer Marco Spikes
In the lobby of the III-rd floor Volyn state regional universal scientific library named Pchilka, exhibited a photo exhibition of famous professional photographer Marco Spike, who lives in the Tuscany region (Italy). During the exhibition opening the participants got acquainted with its history, which began in 2005 with a visit by author Denmark, in particular the city of Svendborg. Then the photographer noticed the similarities of this city with relatives urban landscapes. So the idea to represent the cultural diversity of the ancient European earth through a black-and-white photographs of historical centers of the capitals of the EU. For 10 years (2005-2014 years) was performed on photographs in the 28 capitals of the member countries of the EU. All works presented in the book-catalogue "CityEurope" that is a unique photographic work created by one author. Exhibition of works by Marko Spike will run at the library until may 23, 2017.
