In the Ternopil region with working visit was visited by Consul General of Hungary Mr. j?zsef Bugil. It was a study visit, which aims to establish cooperation in economic and cultural spheres of the region. With representatives of the Consulate met with the Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration Stepan Barna. According to him, Hungary is interesting for the region's own economic potential, the prospects for attracting investment in the areas of economy modernization and innovative development of industries and agriculture. "Our small farms and farmers are interested in studying the Hungarian experience in the field of processing of fruits and vegetables. After all, the processing companies of Hungary are not focused on larger producers, and farmers. It would therefore be advisable to organize and conduct a series of workshops for our farmers with the participation of Hungarian experts, – said Stepan Barna. – In addition, maintaining and increasing supplies to Hungary of wood and agricultural products are of interest to our local producers. These products occupy a leading position in the structure of our exports, and their growth in the conditions of crisis gives us the opportunity to predict the development of mutually beneficial cooperation in the near term." At the same time, as noted by the head of the regional administration, the available labor force in the area, location and condition of the labor market in General create the preconditions for the establishment of investment cooperation with Hungary in the fields of automotive, garment manufacturing, woodworking. Significant is also the prospect of cooperation in the field of culture, education and tourism. With this purpose, in the Ternopil region initiated the festival "Ferenc-fest", which for the second time will take place in Berezhany on 6-8 may. "This event is an opportunity to show the cultural and creative potential of our region. At the same time, we are willing to work in project days countries. This project was started last year and it started the week or day of a particular country. In this case, we proposed to hold the days of Hungary on the territory of Ternopil region, during which will have the opportunity to present their capabilities and accordingly to see closer cooperation with Hungary. In addition, I would like to consider diplomatic cooperation in terms of the fact that in the Ternopil region opened a Honorary Consulate of Hungary.
