This was discussed during a joint selector Vice Prime Minister – Minister of regional development, construction and housing and communal services of Ukraine Gennadiy Zubko and Minister of education and science of Ukraine, Lilia Grinevich. "Our goal is to create a comfortable educational space. Comfortable in every sense – from the point of view of construction and technical equipment of schools, and from the point of view of filling the educational process. But for this to be an initiative from the regional administrations and the heads of the communities", – said Gennady Zubko. For the implementation of the project has several funding sources: funds DPR (provided by UAH 3.5 billion), subsidy on the infrastructure GSS (1.5 billion UAH), subvention from the state budget for socio-economic development of individual territories (4 billion UAH), the education subvention to local budgets, funds of international technical assistance. — "The most promising and profitable area is the formation of educational space in OTG. This will allow at the initial stage to optimize the infrastructure around and effective to invest. Under the same conditions when selecting schools for participation in the project preference is rose, which is located in GSS. After all, our goal is to build educational space in schools to support OTG. in the areas already operates 178 reference agencies and 511 of their branches. 39 of them in the GSS. In particular, in Zhytomyr region of 12 schools 8 operates in the combined communities," said Deputy Prime Minister. Gennady Zubko said that the main task of the Ministry of regional development in these projects are: construction work (reconstruction, overhaul with the introduction of energy efficiency measures), the installation of equipment and software, carrying out high-speed Internet, Wi-Fi, creation of conditions for inclusive education, repair of access roads to schools, creating a barrier-free space in such projects. 50 out of 200 schools, which will create a new education space this year, MES also potawatimi new educational programs and materials for the first class of the New Ukrainian school. "Pilot schools and teachers of the first class that they teach, will become the pioneers. They are testing a new standard primary schools, programs and educational materials that will be used in the educational process. On the basis of their observations will be formulated changes and amendments to the piloted materials, after which they will be introduced all over Ukraine in 2018, when the first class will go to a New Ukrainian School" – said Lilia Hrynevych. She added that there are certain requirements for what should be an environment for successful reform implementation. In particular, we are talking about mobile workstations – for flexibility in the organization of the working class and the use of modern educational methods – the creation of a modern library based on common school libraries, providing the school with free access to the Internet and ICT in General, and the like. The main criteria for the selection of schools to participate in the project: * at least 2 schools in each area. In each of the regions shall be elected at least one rural and one urban school. It could be school support or be considered as a reference. The institution should not be subject to optimization or reorganization and must be able transportation of pupils from other areas. * building educational institutions should not be in disrepair. The land on which is located the SSS should have adequate space for functional areas: leisure, educational, research, sports and the like.
