The Rivne region: on Costamolino stopped illegal sand mining in industrial volumes
the Prosecutor of the Rovno area performed procedural management in criminal proceedings initiated under part 1 of article 240 of the criminal code of Ukraine (violation of rules of protection or use of bowels). Under this criminal proceedings employees of the Prosecutor's office of area together with investigators GU the National police in the Rivne region, employees of Department of protection of the economy in Dnipropetrovsk region, Department of protection of economy of the National police and Ukraine police unit of special purpose CORD 25.04.2017 activities conducted to curb illegal sand mining on the territory of Kostopil district. Place illegal mining has been inactive quarry. Illegal works were carried out on an industrial scale. On a place militiamen revealed and withdrew 2 bulldozers, 2 excavators, 1 dredge, which was used for pre-coating of sand. Now set the sum of the caused damages to the state. In criminal proceedings, urgent investigative actions, measures are taken for identifying the culprits and seizure of heavy equipment involved in illegal mining. The sanction of article prescribes punishment in the form of a fine from 300 to 600 tax-free minimum incomes of citizens or restriction of freedom for up to 2 years, or imprisonment for the same term.
