the Government doubled the amount of monetary compensation for nutrition of children affected by the Chernobyl disaster April 26, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine introduced changes to paragraph 1 of its resolution of 8 February 1997 no 155. Currently, paragraph 11 of article 30 of the Law of Ukraine "On status and social protection of citizens which suffered owing to Chernobyl catastrophe" students of secondary schools, vocational education institutions, students of colleges and technical schools (colleges), located on the territories of radioactive contamination, as well as children who got disability due to Chernobyl catastrophe, who do not eat in these schools, and for all the days when they did not attend these establishments, until reaching the age of majority shall be paid monetary compensation in the order that is determined by the Government (resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from 08.02.1997 No. 155 "About the manner and amount of compensation to the children affected by the Chernobyl disaster"). Approved the following compensation for power-affected children aged 6 to 10 years 180 days, from 11 to 14 – 185 UAH, from 15 to 18 – 190 UAH per month in proportion to the training days that the kids didn't eat. Adopted at the Government meeting a resolution twice the size of monetary compensation for nutrition of children of these categories respectively to 360, 370 and 380 UAH per month.
