Using banner of Victory during public holidays was prohibited by the Law of Ukraine
Distribution and public use, including during the celebration of any public holiday, any image, transcripts, including official copies of the Victory banner is propaganda of totalitarian Communist regime and prohibited by the Law of Ukraine. According to the law of flags, the symbols, images, or other paraphernalia, which are reproduced in the combination of the hammer and sickle, sickle, hammer and five-pointed stars of the plough (Rala), hammer and five-pointed star is a symbolism of the Communist totalitarian regime.
