On the day of visa-free regime Ternopil region raised the flags of Ukraine and the European Union
Ternopil region actively supports the European vector of Ukraine's development. That's why on Thursday, may 11 – the day when Ukraine received a visa-free regime with the European Union, under the walls of the Ternopol regional Council and regional state administration was held the solemn ceremony of raising the national flag of Ukraine and flag of the European Union. There was also a flash mob with the deployment of the national flag and raising of flags of the EU. The event was attended by the Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration Stepan Barna, Chairman of the Ternopil regional Council Victor Ovcharuk, the staff members of the Ternopil regional state administration, deputies, civil servants, young people and active participants of public life of the region. "outstanding day – the Council of Ministers of the European Union adopted the final decision on all of us, citizens of Ukraine the right to visa-free travel. This decision we've been waiting for years. At the same time, is an important step in strengthening the self-identification of Ukraine as a European state involved in the European traditions and values," said Stepan Barna.
