Chernigov: Work on the first phase of the project "Safe city" ends

In the framework of the implementation of the project "Safe city" in Chernihiv held a regular working meeting of the Deputy chief of the National police in the Chernihiv region Oleksandr Potapenko, the Deputy of the Chernihiv city mayor Oleksandr Lomako and Director of the company "the Ukrainian newest telecommunications" Evgeny Tereshchenko. They summed up the interim results in quality software and CCTV cameras. If before the user GUNP in Chernihiv region raised the issue of the quality of the software installed surveillance cameras (the program could not cope with those requirements, which are so necessary to law enforcement for rapid detection of crimes), now the functionality of the software will improve and it already meets the requirements of law enforcement agencies. This General contractor "Ukrainian newest telecommunications" Evgeny Tereshchenko drew another software engineer, namely, the "FF Group", which promised not only to improve the functionality of the software, but also suggested some additional opportunities. The parties found a common language, most of the shortcomings were rectified. On completing the development of additional functions, the police will be able to present complex project "Safe city". So, camera in the end recognize the license plates of cars at high speed and even at night. The program also collects information about traffic flows and, if necessary, gives law enforcement officers an exhaustive list of places I visited one or the other car, and this is not a complete list of features of smart cameras. That is, the software in the cameras will not only show some public place, but also to analyze it. Now the police uses the software in test mode. Soon the Directorate of National police, together with the regional and city authorities are planning a big presentation of the project "Safe city". cn.npu.gov.ua (official website of the National Police Chernihiv region)
