Participation in the discussion was also attended by the Deputy mayor Konstantin Petrochuk, Deputy Chairman of Volyn regional Council, Roman Karpyuk, President of the athletics Federation of Volyn region Vladimir Rudyuk, President of the Board Igor Palitsa “Only together” Alexander Costeniuc. Igor Polishchuk, opening the meeting, said that he was pleased to welcome such honourable guests in Lutsk. According to him, sports in the city of Lutsk is a priority direction of development. “We strive to develop both mass and professional sports. Lutsk city Council supports financial activities. If sports public organizations in 2014, financing amounted to 40 thousand, in 2017 — 850 thousand hryvnias”, - he stressed. The city Council Secretary, acting mayor noted that the stadium “Avangard” adapted for athletic sports. He is one of two certified in Ukraine for holding competitions of international level. He reconstructed for funds of the Charity Fund Igor Palitsa “Only together”. Was a significant investment and such investment is justified, because the luck has already passed a major sporting event. Igor Polishchuk added that luck is a very comfortable city. A short distance away from the city, where there is an international airport. The President of the European athletics Federation Svein Arne Hansen thanked for the opportunity to meet. He stressed the importance of developing sports infrastructure. According to him, it is necessary to create conditions so that young people had the opportunity to develop physically. Also Svein Arne Hansen added that he had a conversation with Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, during which we discussed the issue of holding our country in international athletics competitions. According to him, today our state is going through difficult times, but I am convinced that luck safely carry out sports activities. The President of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine Serhiy Bubka noted that in Lutsk and Volyn region are paying considerable attention to development of sport. He thanked Igor Palitsa and his Foundation “Only together” for the reconstruction of “Avangard”. According to him, luck now has a fine sports arena. Sergey Bubka noted that will contribute to the administrative center of the Volyn region held a prestigious sporting event. Thanked for the meeting and the President of the athletics Federation of Volyn region Vladimir Rudyuk. He noted that Lutsk is an ancient city with a history that has great infrastructure.
