In the Rivne region, the Prosecutor's office encourages citizens to report manifestations of separatism and those who incite criminal actions
the Territorial integrity of Ukraine is an integral part of its autonomy and independence. The Constitution declares that the territory of Ukraine within its present border is indivisible and inviolable. At a time when the East States are continuing hostilities, there are cases when the representatives of radical groups trying to destabilize the situation in other areas of the country, including in Rivne region. The origins of separatist and other manifestations threaten the territorial integrity of Ukraine and violate the constitutional rights of citizens. From law enforcement agencies such developments call for a fundamental reaction in accordance with the law. The Prosecutor's office of Rivne region considers it necessary to warn the inhabitants of the province from committing similar criminal offences against the foundations of national security of Ukraine, which stipulated severe criminal responsibility. In particular, article 109 of the criminal code of Ukraine for actions aimed at forcible change or overthrow of the constitutional order or the seizure of state power, including public calls for such actions, establishes criminal liability in the form of deprivation of liberty for a term up to 10 years. Article 110 of the criminal code of Ukraine provides for liability for infringement of territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine. Intentional acts committed for the purpose of modifying the boundaries of the territory or state border of Ukraine and violation of the order established by the Constitution of Ukraine, and also public appeals or distribution of materials with appeals to Commission of such actions, including, if committed by a person who is a representative of authorities, or on preliminary arrangement by group of persons shall be punished by imprisonment for the term from 3 years to life imprisonment. Article 110-2 of the criminal code of Ukraine stipulates responsibility in the form of imprisonment up to 10 years for financing actions aimed at forcible change or overthrow the constitutional order or seizure of state power, changes of borders of the territory or state border of Ukraine. I address to inhabitants of region with the request not to succumb to criminal appeals, not to commit criminal acts, but on the facts of illegal encroachments to notify law enforcement authorities, including the Prosecutor's office of Rivne region. The Prosecutor's office of Rivne region also encourages all law enforcement agencies, state authorities, self-government, the media and the public to join efforts to protect the territorial integrity of the state and the constitutional rights of every inhabitant of the region.
