For high achievements in Chernivtsi athletes and coaches will receive cash rewards
one-time cash award for high achievements will annually receive in Chernivtsi 5 athletes and 5 coaches in Olympic and non-Olympic sports, sports for the disabled. This decision was taken by the Executive Committee of the city Council. The size of one cash rewards the athlete is 10 times the subsistence minimum, the size of one cash rewards coach is 5 minimum. Rewards are assigned at the expense of the city budget provided for the development of physical culture and sports. Rewards for high sport results in competitions payable to: athletes and coaches of Chernivtsi, which took part in the official national competitions on Olympic and non-Olympic kinds of sport, sports of persons with disabilities; members of national teams of Ukraine in official international competitions in Olympic sports non-Olympic sports, which are included in the program of the European games, World games, World martial arts, World mind games, world chess Olympiad, the sports of the disabled. Candidates for the purpose of payment of cash rewards will be determined by the Commission for the purpose of payment of cash rewards, which includes representatives from: Department of youth and sports of Chernivtsi regional state administration, Chernivtsi regional Department of Committee for physical education and sport of the Ministry of education and science of Ukraine, Department of physical culture and sports of the city Council, the Department of education of the city Council, Chernivtsi regional branch of the NOC of Ukraine, Chernivtsi regional school of the highest sports skill, the Chernivtsi regional center for physical health "Sport for all", Chernivtsi regional centre for physical culture and sports of invalids "Invasport", sports societies, local sports federations for Olympic sports that are included to the category of priority sports in Ukraine, 3 local sports federations for non-Olympic sports, which are included to the category of priority sports in Ukraine. To receive monetary rewards athletes nominated from the members, candidates and reserve national teams of Ukraine, Chernivtsi region national team in Olympic and non-Olympic sports and coaches who reside on the territory of Ukraine and registered in Chernivtsi. Mandatory condition for obtaining monetary rewards are obtained by an athlete places at the Olympic games, Youth Olympic games, European games, World games for non-Olympic sports, World mind games, World games of martial arts, the world chess Olympiad, Paralympic games, Deaflympic games, Championships, cups and Championships of the city, region, Ukraine, Europe and the world among youth, juniors, youths and adults.
