The head of one of Rivne public organizations reported about suspicion in infringement of territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine
In coordination with the Prosecutor's office of Rivne region, the investigator of security Service of Ukraine in Rivne region 15.05.2017 reported suspected 37-year-old resident of Rivne the head of the local public organization in the Commission of infringement of territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine (signs of the crime provided by part 2 of article 110 of the criminal code of Ukraine). As stated, the suspect is a resident of the Russian Federation organized and conducted 03.05.2017 an unauthorized rally in Rivne, where the attraction for the remuneration of members of the public organization headed by students and other citizens (including so-called "strmenu"), speculating on the problem of illegal extraction of amber, urged to take actions aimed at changing the boundaries of the territory or state border of Ukraine in violation of the order established by the Constitution of Ukraine. As a consequence, the event on the same day were used and analyzed a number of Russian media, with the aim of forming citizens have a negative attitude to Ukraine and discredit its government and law enforcement agencies (for example under the headings "In Rovno amber began Maidan", "the amber people's Republic" and others). The participants of the "fake" action taken posters with provocative slogans and sprays. By results of consideration of the petition of the investigator coordinated with the procedural Prosecutor, the Rivne city court applied to the suspect the measure of restraint – detention without the right of bail. In this criminal proceedings pre-judicial investigation proceeds to ascertain all the circumstances of serious crimes and bring those responsible to justice.
