Lutsk: drugs,alcohol,dangerous behavior – the path to offences and crimes
One of the work areas of the Department of social services for family, children and youth Lutsk city Council is the correction and resocialization of persons sentenced to punishments not connected with imprisonment. This work is conducted in active cooperation with Lutsk Gros on the issues of probation West inter-regional Department for execution of criminal sanctions and probation service of the Ministry of justice of Ukraine. Typically, first-time alcohol and drug use in minors or young adulthood. Curiosity, fear not to fall in the eyes of their peers to be "weak", the desire to attract attention – it pushes youth to the path of temptation, where it grows the forbidden fruit. The desire to be like the cool guys, to be recognized in the circle of friends and not seem "gray mouse", "meaningless entertainment" in conjunction with the blatant lack of the necessary reliable information about drugs leads to sad consequences: uncontrollable behavior due to the action of psychoactive substances, alcoholic beverages, and this is the way to offense, offense, injury, early sexual activity, promiscuous unprotected sexual behavior and, as a result of sexually transmitted infectious diseases, hepatitis, HIV. All this and other issues on prevention of negative phenomena among teenagers and youth sentenced to punishments not involving deprivation of liberty in the framework of the Day of the social worker in the criminal-Executive inspection. In collaboration with staff of the Department of social services for family, children and youth, the Layman Vadim Stepanovich – Deputy head of Department, and employees of Lutsk Gros on the issues of probation psychologist, Yarmolyuk Elena Vladimirovna, the senior inspector, the major of internal service, Galetskogo Ruslan Nikolaevich held awareness-preventive conversation. This event was aimed at the dissemination of truthful information about action and adverse effects of psychoactive substances among young people and the promotion of healthy lifestyles, prevention of crime.
