That is, during January-February of this year we exported products to more than 60 million. and imports amounted to 44 million. Given that we are talking about is not too active period of the year, I think, is a very positive thing. Among the countries cooperating with the region, will provide the great progress in relations with Vietnam: indicators rose as much as five times! And are interested in joint activities with Ternopil firms not only business people, but also credit institutions that seek to invest in our area. So, the next time we will try to organise several meetings of Chinese investors and Ternopil businesses to restore closer ties. The largest share of exports from region, of course, is agricultural produce. I note a significant increase in the volume of trade chicken eggs to Arab countries that lately. Though actually sells our region, not only agricultural products — quite a significant representation in exports have, for example, electrical appliances, and even art. So, our exports are quite diverse. To diversify it even more, and to intensify cooperation with potential investors is the aim of the Second international investment forum "Invest Ternopil region-2017"? So, the forum will be held from 24 to 26 may, and we lay high expectations. There is already an agreement that the forum will arrive ambassadors of Georgia, Moldova, Estonia, Tajikistan, Belarus, also expect confirmation from the ambassadors of India, Vietnam and Iran. The expected high attendance and the level of the Cabinet, and the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko congratulated the guests of the forum an official appeal. This status, the forum has gained thanks to the activity of the Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration Stepan Barns that any trip to the capital combine with a visit to diplomatic missions and cooperation. It is planned that the forum will be attended by about 400 guests. Half of them will represent Ukraine and, in particular, Ternopil. We invite local businessmen, heads of administration and chairmen of the joint territorial communities, for guests to have direct contact with stakeholders. Last year, by the way, the forum was attended by over 700 guests, but now we have deliberately reduced the scale of the event, inviting only representatives of business structures and diplomatic institutions that actively cooperate with the business area and require even more contacts. Thus, are aimed at increasing the effectiveness of the event. What will be the programme of the forum? We took into account previous experience from last year's event, in particular, complaints that for the distinguished guests, ambassadors and consuls of other countries, was not properly organized program of stay on the forum. That is why we have given this aspect more attention. So, on the first day of the forum, may 24, on the basis of the Zbarazh castle will do a round table with the participation of diplomats and business centers, guests will go on a tour to Pochaev Lavra. In the future, we have planned signing of an agreement on cooperation between the Ternopil regional state administration Chairman and marsalam Subcarpathian Voivodeship, bordering Ukraine. For the practical part of the forum, there will be two discussion panels. One will be devoted to cooperation with foreign business and investment attraction for the region. And the second — Ternopil airfield. We have several proposals from potential investors for the airport. In particular, the representatives of the Iranian airlines that have a presence in Ukraine, want to take part of our airport under technogenic, as in any other airfield in Western Ukraine there is no possibility to repair aircraft and conduct the inspection. Another proposal is the launch of the Ternopil regular passenger flights, but it is necessary to substantially repair the terminal. The launch of the airport is very important for the management of the area, so we invited as a speaker on this panel, the Minister of infrastructure Volodymyr Omelyan. Recently the Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration, talked to him on the phone, and the Minister gave a positive response to the invitation. We also expect the arrival of representatives Gusovskogo airport, their experience is invaluable for the city, so I hope for their help. This is the second economic forum, which holds the command of Stepan Barns, but in previous years, under different chairmen of regional state administration, the Ternopil region was held up to a dozen similar forums, but the use of them virtually no. What, in your opinion, the mistakes of its predecessors and how to avoid them now? I was acquainted with the materials of the previous economic forums, in particular in 2008-2009 Why they were ineffective? I would highlight two components of reasons. First, the overall economic situation in the country that have developed at the moment, absolutely did not contribute to investment. Now we see that, despite the war, the government invests considerable funds in infrastructure development in the regions. And these processes is a signal to investors about the intentions and transparency of power. And the second aspect to consider themselves leaders of the region and districts. Don't want to offend anyone, but I think that the previous chairmen of regional state administrations and RGA has focused on Desk work, and, for example, the current Chairman of regional state administration Stepan Barna a large part of the work schedule forms, with emphasis on areas often there is and is well-versed in regional issues and business opportunities in the field.
