During a briefing in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with participation of people's deputies Irina, Konstankevych, Igor Guzya, acting Lutsk mayor Igor Polishchuk and representatives of Vladimir-Volynsk, Kovel Novovolynsk and city councils it was about the situation on compensation of privileges and subsidies. MP Ihor Huz drew attention to the critical situation on the payment of compensation for subsidies in Volyn region and called on the Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groisman to immediately intervene and solve this problem. Acting Lutsk city mayor Igor Polishchuk noted that today Volyn is in a most critical situation according to the calculations for subsidies. Regarding the city of Lutsk, the city's debt is 248 million UAH, UAH 123 million owed to SCE “Lutskteplo”, 11 million UAH, KP “Lutskvodokanal”, 5 million UAH — condominiums. “This situation causes a number of negative consequences. It is the inability to pay for natural gas, for electricity, the growth of debt for energy, growth penalties, inability to pay tax and single social contribution and other negative consequences. First and foremost, we need to think about the people. approaching a situation that will have nothing to pay the salaries of people who work in the public sector. There is a threat not to the category of gas, which carries the risk of disconnection of hot water. This situation complicates the preparation for the heating season”, - said Igor Polishchuk. According to him, because at the enterprises of public utilities is not paid, there is a danger of losing employees who would be forced to seek work abroad, because Volhynia is bordered by the Republic of Poland and people will be tempted to go back to work. Igor Polishchuk is convinced that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine should immediately affect this critical situation.
