Chernivtsi, Oleksiy Kaspruk met Slovenian entrepreneur to search for joint solutions for investment proposals
Chernivtsi mayor Alex Kaspruk met with the head of the company "RIKO" (Slovenia) Janez Skraba (Janez Skrabec). During the working meeting the head of the company said that "RIKO" has a wide international experience of planning and implementing projects in the field of technological equipment, energy, environmental, logistics and construction. The range of investment interests of the company in Chernivtsi covers the following promising areas: cleaning of waste waters; biogas – construction of digesters in the framework of urban sewage treatment plants, with a possible thermal hydrolysis of sludge from other septic tanks; construction of new sewage treatment plants; construction of solid waste landfills to the plant for sorting and possible combustion of the solid residue waste; the station composting of organic waste; construction of transformer stations; construction of hydroelectric power plants and so on. Alex Kaspruk details outlined current challenges and problems, the solution of which the city operates, and invited the businessman to continue the professional dialogue at the expert level by finding joint solutions on a number of specific investment proposals, particularly in the public sector. "Certainly,- said Alexey Kaspruk, – we are interested in new international projects, especially when it comes to improving the environment and the introduction of new modern technologies". Chernivtsi these days will also visit a large delegation from Slovenia, representatives of which will participate in the opening of a memorial plaque in the mathematics Department of the Chernivtsi national University named after Yuriy Fedkovych, the outstanding mathematicians Joseph Planely.
