The public of the city of Lutsk commemorates'Yat Taras Shevchenko on the day of his reburial

On this day in 1861 he was reburied in his Homeland, namely on Chernecha mountain in Kaniv. On this occasion luck to the monument to the Great Kobzar came Secretary of the city Council, acting mayor Igor Polishchuk, members of the clergy, intellectuals, students and the public. The clergy of the UOC-KP held a service for the repose of the souls of Taras Shevchenko. Later, the attendees laid flowers to the monument. “ we honor the bright memory of the outstanding Ukrainian poet, painter, prophet of the Ukrainian people Taras Shevchenko.
