Dear citizens, the Ukrainians! May 23, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Heroes. The decision on celebration of this date was made the Second Big Gathering of the Ukrainian nationalists in honor of the conductor of OUN Eugene Konovalets and other fallen fighters for freedom of Ukraine. Eugene Konovalets once said: “In the great world drama of our days, we have to choice: or to be creators or victims of history”. All who laid their lives for Ukraine, all who are fighting now, are the creators of history. History of the Cossacks of Bohdan Khmelnytsky and Ivan Mazepa, the shelves of Ukrainian people's Republic and the people's militia units of the anti-Bolshevik resistance, the soldiers of the Ukrainian insurgent army and the hundreds of Maidan, that buttbrain bravely went to the bullets for our common ideals of the Ukrainian state. History is made of thousands of Ukrainians that Moscow has stopped the Horde in the East of our state. Only on respect for the Characters and the deep historical memory's a memory to build a strong national state. So let us bow our heads in tribute to the heroism of the past and present generations.
